For brands & press
Into The HiFi covers new hi-fi gear, the companies that make it, and the shows and listening events where people hear it. If you make, import or sell hi-fi and have something new, we want to hear about it.
Send us your news
Email [email protected]
One release per email is easiest for us. Put the brand and model in the subject line.
What to include
- Brand and model name, written the way you want it printed
- What it is, in a sentence or two
- US list price (MSRP) and when it will be available in the US
- A link to the product page, if there is one
- Hi-res product photos, or a link to download them, and the photo credit
- Who to contact for a review sample or an interview, and your US distributor if you are not the distributor
Put the release text in the body of the email. Attach a PDF as well if you like, but we read the body first.
Embargoes
If your news is under embargo, put EMBARGOED UNTIL at the top of the email with the date, the time and the time zone, for example "EMBARGOED UNTIL 28 October 2026, 9:00 a.m. ET". Nothing about it appears anywhere on Into The HiFi before then. If you leave out the time or the zone, we hold it until later that day rather than guess early.
What happens next
Our news desk reads everything we receive. A release tells us something is happening. We confirm it from at least one other source, then write our own story rather than reprinting yours. Sending a release doesn't mean we will cover it, and we can't promise a date if we do.
We don't take payment for coverage. Advertising, if we ever sell it, will be labelled and kept separate from editorial.
Shows and listening events
Hosting a demo day, a dealer event or a room at a show? Send it to the same address with the dates, the venue and how people RSVP.
Publish here yourself
Brands, distributors, dealers and musicians can have a company page on Into The HiFi, and one company can run several. From your page you post launches, arrivals and events, and your team can write longer articles. Every post is labelled as yours, and a new product shows in "Launched this week" on our homepage.
- Create or claim your page. If you sign up with an address on your company's own website domain, you're in as soon as you confirm it. Claim or create your company page →
- Bring your team. Add colleagues from the Team tab of your page. Anyone with a member page can also ask to join your company from their own account. You approve each one, and they can then post for the company under their own name.
- Get followed. Readers follow your page with one button. Every article your team publishes as the company goes to them in their newsletter, beside the writers and companies they chose.
- Write it in your own words. Original writing gets more reach here. A post that is mostly your press release still goes to your followers, labelled "From the press release", but it is not offered to search engines and sits below original writing in our feeds: the release is already on your website.
