The Fluance RT84 is a belt-drive turntable in the company's Reference series, fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue moving magnet cartridge, an aluminum platter, an S-type static-balanced aluminum tonearm, and an MDF plinth. It uses a servo-controlled DC motor and requires an external phono preamp, sitting above the RT83 and below the RT85 in the lineup.
