The Benchmark DAC3 B is a fixed-output digital-to-analog converter based on the ES9028PRO chip, positioned in the DAC3 family as the model without a volume control or analog inputs, intended for use with a separate preamplifier. It provides five digital inputs (USB, two optical, two coaxial) with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, high-headroom DSP, linear-phase reconstruction filtering, and Benchmark's UltraLock3 jitter-attenuation clock system.
